Biography

Jamie Walker is currently a doctoral candidate in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program at The University of Arkansas. She received her M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University and her B.A. in Sociology from The University of Texas at Arlington. Jamie has broad research interests in Health Psychology and Behavioral Sleep Medicine. Her work examines the biopsychosocial correlates of sleep and health, with a focus on the underlying mechanisms at the intersection between insomnia and chronic illness.
