Harrison Dickens

Biography

Harrison Dickens is a Clinical Psychology doctoral student at the University of Arkansas. He obtained his B.S. in Psychology from Mississippi College. Harrison’s research interests center around stress phenotyping: identifying patterns of stress system functioning, stressor exposure, and sociodemographic factors that promote resilience or risk in the context of overall health. Primarily, he is interested in how these stress phenotypes impact sleep, pain, and internalizing disorders. Harrison’s overarching goal is to leverage this understanding in an integrative clinical model to address prevention and treatment of chronic illness.
