Ellen Jacob

Ellen Jacob is an undergraduate Research Assistant in the Sleep and Health Research Lab at the University of Notre Dame and is originally from Minnesota. She is a senior psychology major on the pre-medicine track and is excited to investigate how sleep intersects with neurodegenerative diseases, performance outcomes, and stress. Ellen is also drawn to global experiential learning and has spent time in Uganda, Bolivia, and Australia since arriving at Notre Dame. She additionally has a passion for children and worked as a teacher's assistant and currently tutors elementary students in South Bend. While she is considering medicine as a career, she is also interested in graduate school for psychology.
